Stop Doubting your
ability to lead
You want to go to work each day courageous, confident,
and tenacious ready for the uncertainty that comes with leadership.
You want to feel like you are making a difference, adding real value, and having an impact on your team.
But more than anything, you just want to
feel capable as a leader and be recognized for all that you do.
Having worked with leaders to help them grow their confidence, develop their teams, and be more effective, this much I know:
- You feel like an impostor, constantly battling doubt that you are good enough.
- You don’t have enough time, but you want to get it perfect.
- You don’t have the management support and mentorship you need.
- You struggle with selling your ideas and being heard.
- You are tired of not moving forward, and you can't understand why you aren't.
If this sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
In fact, this is the before story of many leaders I’ve worked with.
As a leader and entrepreneur myself, I get it, really I do.
You are good at your job or you wouldn’t have this opportunity as a leader. You want to prove to them and to yourself that you can succeed. You work hard, but every day you are frustrated that you aren't having the impact you want.
Really, you are living through fear and the drive to prove yourself.
If you want to stand out as a leader, be respected, and feel confident; you have to put your development first.
If not, you aren't leading, you're just managing.
Brene Brown said
"You can choose courage,
or you can choose comfort,
but you cannot choose both."
Being comfortable to say no, so you can say yes to what matters most.
Feeling confident in your capability to speak up for your team and yourself.
Daring to speak up about the elephant in the room, knowing conflict can be healthy.
Going to work, knowing that you are capable and confident to handle whatever comes your way.
Having confidence in how your team, peers, and manager perceives you as a leader.
Knowing how you are holding yourself back, and what to do about it.
Your manager telling you that you are doing a great job.
However, you only get these kinds of results when you invest in yourself to gain the confidence and skills to lead.
There is hope. You aren't alone.
I’m Kim-Elisha and I work with leaders to evoke, equip and empower them with the confidence and skills they need to accomplish their leadership goals.
I know what you’re going through.
Before I started my own company, I was a successful manager who worked my way from Engineering into Organization Development. While working full time; I pursued my Masters Degree and coaching certification. Most weeks I worked 50+ hours with calls at 5am or 10pm with my international team. I commuted 3 hours a day. I got shit done and was well rewarded for it.
On the other side of this success, is a truth.
After many years of this stress, I was burnt out. Then came what I call my dark night of the soul and a wake up call. Two of my dearest girlfriends, both in their early forties, passed away from cancer. I was diagnosed with adrenal dysfunction, quit a job that didn’t nourish me, and left my marriage. Mary Oliver’s quote “Tell me, what it is you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” haunted me.
And the deepest truth.
As I let go of the external trappings of success, I found the courage to speak up. Today I lead a life I am proud of. Where every day I get to encourage the potential of leaders and inspire empowered action to change our world.
Can You Relate?
That's why I want to help you gain the clarity, courage and confidence to lead.
I'm passionate about this because I know what it's like to not have management support, leadership training, and to compete in technology where it's mostly white men sitting at the table.
You can read books, listen to podcasts and read articles on how to be a better leader; however, books can only take you so far. Theory is different than reality.
My mission is to show you...
Your own brand of courage & bravery.
You aren't alone. You have support.
Discover the leader you are meant to be
You want to feel valued and make an impact at work. You want to see your team grow and conquer big problems. You secretly dream of being given that stretch opportunity or promotion.
Imagine what it would feel like to push through frustration and fear to stand up for the right thing, versus doing the easy thing. Imagine if you felt courageous and confident at work, finally offered the next opportunity you want.
Together You Will...
1. Stop working harder & working more
Stop wasting your time on working harder & more, trying to get it perfect, not saying no, and trying to figure it out on your own so you can prove you can do the job. It's time to get support and make time for the important stuff in your life.
2. Stop loosing money
You work for a salary. Divide your total compensation by how much you work, and then look at the bonuses, stock, and higher wages you've passed up... it will shock you.
3. Stop letting fear hold you back
You opt out of important conversations and making decisions because of fear. The fear of looking wrong, saying something wrong, or being wrong. You deserve to be heard, and that starts with having the courage to be vulnerable and take a risk.
This Work is Different
One size doesn't fit all. Every leader has different strengths, different areas of development, and goals as a leader. While there are commonalities among leaders and foundational skills to be successful, success looks different. Because everybody is different, it's my mission to provide you with a tailored experience that’s unique to your own needs, desires and expectations.
This experience if just for YOU.
What Can You Expect?
I will walk you through the entire journey, and give you the support that you've never had, and have always wanted.
Together we will uncover what's really holding you back, gain clarity on what you really want, and discover where your true courage lies.
What Women Have Said
"I enjoyed the opportunity to work with someone so warm and intuitive who also has a firm grasp on the specific difficulties facing women in leadership positions."
I was fortunate to meet Kim-Elisha and work with her as an Executive Coach and found her methods to be insightful, personal, and focused. I’d never had the privilege of this kind of support before working with her, and would encourage anyone contemplating either a move towards greater capacity building or deeper personal inquiry to work with Kim-Elisha directly. I continue to refer back to some of the visioning work we practiced in order to check on my goals and personal and professional trajectory.
"Inquisitive. Compassionate. Focused."
I had never worked with a coach, so my expectations were minimal. I found this process exceeded my expectations. It was participatory rather than instructive allowing me to arrive at my own conclusions and / or change my mind / opinion in the process. It also was structured enough to focus discipline on a topic that I would have just delayed addressing.
Remember, You can do this!
I’m so grateful that you are here. It means you are ready for change and looking for help. It's an honor for me to witness women, like you, step out of their comfort zone and take risks to be seen and heard. It continues to inspire me to be a better woman, coach, and leader.
Our world and workplaces need more leaders like you. They need your ideas, your truth, your strength, and you to challenge the norms that no longer serve them.
I know what it's like to walk into a room and no one looks like you. To feel like you are always having to prove yourself over and over, scared to make a mistake. To feel like an imposter, always doubting. I also know what it's like to take your seat at the table, speak for your ideas, and to be heard.
I know your heart and the dreams you want to bring to life. The purpose that drives you and how much you want to be a better leader.
It’d be my honor to be your coach and help you find the courage to lead.
